Purpose is the fourth studio album by Justin Bieber, released on November 13, 2015, by Def Jam Recordings and School Boy Records.

Background
The album was preceded by the release of the worldwide number one lead single “What Do You Mean?”, and the record-breaking second single “Sorry”. The third single “Love Yourself” was also a success, reaching number one in the UK and New Zealand and the top ten in Australia and the United States. “Company” was announced as the album’s fourth single.
Purpose became Justin’s 6th album to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Purpose Cover Art
The original cover art was banned in Muslim countries, due to Justin’s tattoo representing a Christian cross. The alternative version features a black and white photo from Justin’s trip to Iceland, where he shot the I’ll Show You music video.
